Big Thank You!

I just want to take a minute to tell all our family and friends who care for us enough to have checked on us, helped us, and prayed for us (you know who you are) through the last week. We have had a rough road, but it's getting better. Mason and Maddie are doing great after the accident and Lisa is slowly on the mend. My biggest thank you goes out to her for caring for my monkeys and making them a priority despite her own injuries. "Thank you" doesn't cover my gratitude....we all love you so much. You are to us everything family SHOULD be!!! Scott Township firefighters were a Godsend and we are thankful for them caring for us as well. I just know that our guardian angel is looking out for us....we Love you, Grandma Pam <3

SCHOOL!!

What an awesome day today has been. I took yesterday morning off work to take Mase to his first day of Pre-K and he did great! I was anticipating taking Thursday morning off to take Maddie to her first day of Jumpstart (2-3 yr-olds) at Mase's school. After talking with the teachers about their suggestion (and to each other), Brian and I decided to put Maddie in the Preschool class instead. That is the same class Mase went through last year. She has been potty trained for 8 months now and knows everything Mase did for the class last year so.....with the assurance that if it didn't work we could always go back to Jumpstart AND that if it did work and we wanted to put her through two years of Pre-K we could, we decided to give it a try.
Verdict? SHE LOVES IT!! When Lisa and I dropped them both off this morning, it was as if they were old pros at it. Mase went right into his room and started chatting with his buddies. "Bye, Mommy. See you later!" he said. Then we took Maddie to her room for the first time. She sat quietly at the table while we talked to her new teacher. After telling her to go play with some new friends in her classroom, Lisa and I each gave her a kiss and hug and told her we would be back later to pick her up. She didn't miss a beat and scurried off to play with her new friend Libby. When I picked them up I was nervous to hear what her teacher would say. She eased my mind by saying, "She did AWESOME!" The real test was when I asked her if she was ready to come back to school again tomorrow. No worries - she nodded excitedly and said "YA!"
My babies are getting big so fast. I'm overwhelmed with pride and love for them both!!
