Dr Appointment Postponed

Maddie was supposed to have her 15-month doctor appointment this afternoon, but plans were changed for us. It had nothing to do with the snow and ice, but a clerical error on the receptionists part. When I made this appointment (about two months ago) they put Maddie's name on the wrong dr's book. Maddie's doctor is out on vacay all week this week! (Excellent choice of vacation time, Dr. Myres - wish I was out of town!!) I guess Monday when they opened they looked at all the appointments for the week and noticed Maddie was down on a day her dr was out of town. The nurse called to leave me a message and let us know what happened and that Maddie's appointment has been rescheduled for Feb. 18th. You know me.....that wasn't going to cut it! I called today to see about getting her in sooner and she now has an appointment for Monday (2/2) morning. That's better! We will let you know how things go!
We have been very lucky in that we have power and in fact never lost it at all! There are so many people who are without power and having to rearrange their lives. Great Grandma and Grandpa Hinman have been staying with Grandpa Eddie the last few days because they don't have power. Grandpa Eddie still doesn't have power either, but he does have a generator which allows them to, at the very least, have heat! We're glad for Grandpa Eddie taking such good care of Great Gra and Gramps!!! Hope you guys (and everyone else out there who still doesn't have power) get back to normal soon!
